Good Morning Marauders!
I am pleased to announce that our counseling team worked through the night to have the schedules ready to view this morning! Once you have the ability to see your schedule, please follow these steps to get the class codes for logging in on Monday morning.
- Check PowerSchool for your class schedule
- When you first log in you will be on the grades and attendance page.
- You will need to click the gray (right facing) arrow in the top left corner of the grades and attendance page to bring up the menu on the left. See the attached picture for reference.
- Click on the link that says my schedule for the easiest view of your student schedule.
- Write down the name of your teachers and the periods you will see them. You only need to worry about periods 1-3 for P1/Q1 at this point.
- Go to the MMHS webpage and click on the online learning tab to view the master grid for all courses.
- Find your teacher and period and write down the access information so you can register for their class.
- Log into the individual classes so you are registered and ready for Monday.
- Remember that next week we will have no graded work. It is designed to be a time to get familiar with our programs and trouble shoot any issues with logging in to the individual sites. If you encounter any issues with logging in, please first send the teacher an email as they will be able to walk you through the process.
- Please begin by watching this helpful video. Click on the link below. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GEVM3KBM1Uj_8nTtLlZ1TkvXofoworYd/view?usp=sharing
- Remember to take a deep breath and know that we are partners with you. If you can’t log on, don’t panic, we are here to help! This is a new system for everyone so we will extend grace and compassion as we learn to navigate this together. I would also ask you to extend the same courtesy with our staff as they are learning alongside our district teams. We know that last year was a difficult transition to distance learning. We argue that it really was more accurately termed crisis learning, we are hopeful that your experience this year will be much different! We are looking forward to seeing you again!
- You will be logging in with your teachers at these specific times, but I would go on the sites early and get familiar with the pages.
- Below is a quick glance for when our check in times will be next week with the teachers. The rest of the activities will be done asynchronously.

If you encounter any issues with your schedule, the counselors have included a link that you might find helpful. Please use this link to report any issues with the schedule as all counselors will have access and will work to trouble shoot any issues. Students who have an issue with their schedule can fill out the Google Survey and their counselor will start checking it Monday to review the request and make adjustments accordingly: https://forms.gle/pGgLXDa91GsxfbRKA Issues may include: the student already successfully passed the class, they are in the wrong class, or they have a hole in their schedule.
TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT CENTERS NOW OPEN FOR STUDENT DEVICE EXCHANGES
This week, IT opened up 4 Technology Support Centers for Families to be able exchange a broken student Chromebook. The process for families to exchange a device consists of 4 steps:
- Family calls the Family Technology Support Line 619-732-1400
- Support technician troubleshoots the student Chromebook
- If the support tech is unable to fix the issue over the phone and determines a replacement Chromebook is required, directs the family to a Technology Support Center for exchange.
- Family exchanges the student Chromebook at one of the 4 designated Technology Support Centers.
Related info:
- Technology Support Centers are NOT staffed to support Chromebook distributions, please continue to come to the site for the initial Chromebook pickups.
- IT does not recommend having families exchange broken/not working student Chromebooks at our school, I would ask families to follow the process above. Once we go back to ‘in person’, there will be an exchange process that is setup and shared, but not during Online Learning.
STUDENT PASSWORDS
The Family Technology Support Line (619-732-1400) can assist families with getting their ID and password.
